Roger Federer cae por 6-4, 6-7
(5-7), 6-3, 6-7 (2-7) y 6-2 ante el británico Andy Murray en cuatro
horas de juego. Es que el número tres del mundo, que se acerca
peligrosamente a su posición en el ranking.
En un partido
maratónico, Murray fue el más regular durante todo el partido, un
recurso valioso en el quinto set, ante un Federer fatigado. “Era
conocido por haber perdido grandes partidos en el pasado. Haber ganado
un gran título y haber batido a Roger (Federer) en la final de los
Juegos Olímpicos también me ayudó”, explicó Murray, que continúa con el
envión de 2013, cuando se adjudicó el US Open y logró la medalla dorada
en Londres.
Ahora esperamos que Roger recupere terreno en la gira americana y europea de canchas duras.
